Cyclevision 2005
4th-5th of June 2005
This year the Cyclevision event was held for the first time at the race circuit in Zandvoort. Many companies exhibited their latest recumbents and also homebuilders were represented with their own stand. Both days there were races for recumbents, handbikes and even uprights.
Very neat made homebuilt recumbent. Stainless steel frame and wood details and suspension. Cycles great too! Built by Arjen Schoneveld.
A very interesting homebuilt recumbent is the 'Minq'. It features a seat that can be easily taken off to be used as a chair. During cycling the legs of the chair can be used as a rack for (bicycle) bags.
The seat height of this full suspension homebuilt recumbent can be altered. A gas spring is used to push the seat to a higher position. I looks like the bicycle stand also moves up...
The pit boxes were used as stands for the exhibitors. The area in front was quite lively with many people and bikes. In the front my girlfriend Eva.
Nice looking 'London Transport' bike. Designed by Mike Burrows. It has a mono-fork and mono rear stay. The handlebars can turn round to allow storage in a tight space.
