With this group of people I participated in a running competion. The conditions were quite different from what I was used to. The traject was only 4 km, but the difference in height between start and finish was 390 meter. And there was about 0,5 meter of snow on the path.
This hotel was the finish of the running competition.
Walking back to the valley along the path which we ran up the day before.
Heavy snowfall created a beautiful landscape.
A wonderful sight of trees, snow, ...and people.

From the main road, the "path" to the chalet was a few hunderd meters long.
